Welcome to Elstree and Borehamwood!

We are a team of Anglican churches serving Elstree and Borehamwood. As a Christian community we aim to be faithful to the teaching of Jesus Christ, to love God and to love others. We are committed to the spiritual and pastoral needs of the community we serve and the challenge of relating faith to life today. Our four churches are looking to grow as places of friendship, of community and of faith. With other churches in the Diocese of St Albans we are exploring “Living God’s Love”.

  • Here in Elstree and Borehamwood our oldest church is St. Nicholas, in Elstree. This beautiful church provides the village with regular Sunday worship. Set off the main road, the church is a superb place for weddings and baptisms.
  • In central Borehamwood, on Shenley Road is All Saints Church. Built in Jacobean style this red-brick church dates from 1909 and is host to a growing congregation.
  • Nearer to the A1 and set in south Borehamwood, Holy Cross Church offers Sunday services with coffee and chat to follow.
  • On Brook Road, St Michael and All Angels Church provides Sunday services to a lively congregation with a fledgling Youth Church and weekly Welcome Café.

Each of our churches are looking to grow and develop as a place of worship, friendship and community.

You and your family will find a very warm welcome at whichever church you choose to attend.
